Martin Ouko

Trustee, Kiwimbi International

Martin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance, a Minor in Management Systems, and a Master of Science Degree in Systems Analysis & Design, all from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He currently serves as Vice President, Emerging Technologies & AI Enablement at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group where he leads AI Product Vision, Strategy and Execution efforts. Before that, he was the head of Global Artificial Intelligence Platforms, Engineering & Operations at TIAA.

He is often asked to speak at conferences on the topic of artificial intelligence, and he holds US and European patents on Osteobiologics, and previously served on FINRA’s (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Arbitration Panel.

Having grown up in a humble household in rural Kenya, and migrating to the US a little more than two decades ago, Martin has a deep appreciation for the charity of his uncles and aunts, both for financial support and mentorship, to achieve his educational goals. These formative years informed and continue to shape his perspective and therefore it was no accident that he found Kiwimbi’s vision compelling.

When not otherwise engaged, he can be found in the trees, sand bunkers or the rough, looking for his golf balls. He also organizes opportunities for charitable organizations and philanthropists to come together to bond over a good game of golf under the banner of Prestige Invitational.
