Maurice Onyuka

Maurice serves as a portfolio manager of Global/International Equities at Double Duty Money Management LLC and brings over three decades of investment experience.

He served as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of US Equities at the Swiss Private Bank, UBP and B. Riley Wealth Management. Prior to that he worked at Mackay Shields/Cornerstone Capital Management – wholly owned subsidiaries of New York Life. Maurice started his career at Fiduciary Trust-Templeton and Clemente Capital/Wilmington Trust where he was a portfolio manager/investment analyst covering global and emerging market equities.

Maurice completed his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BA in Economics and Finance from Kean University in New Jersey.

Maurice was introduced to Kiwimbi through fellow trustee Martin Ouko. Kiwimbi’s vision, impact statement and testimonials inspired Maurice to get involved. This experience has allowed him to reclaim the fulfillment and positive impact other people had on him when growing up under similar circumstances to the people Kiwimbi serves and has renewed his sense of meaning and motivation, knowing that helping and molding these young students, especially through education, into more empowered adults is a priceless gift.
