Ivy first joined Kiwimbi in 2021 as a volunteer in the art department and was delighted to have the position. She later became a teaching assistant, then a receptionist and is currently the administrative assistant. Each day, at Kiwimbi she learns how to be a better person, and working there has changed her life. Her dreams grow and are achieved. She has learned how to be a better adult and mentor, and has even learned to play golf thanks to Kiwimbi. Her love for community development has grown since starting her tenure, and she is so grateful. Her wish is for the younger generation to have access to Kiwimbi and the opportunities that she has had.
