Edward (Ochii) Ondondo
Trustee, Kiwimbi International
Edward (Ochii) T. O. Ondondo RN, BSN is a Kenyan-American, raised in Kenya who migrated to the United States in the late 1990s to attend college, where he pursued a degree in nursing. His work experience spans over 20 years in providing acute healthcare. His passion is in giving care to people and making a real difference in their lives.
He first connected with Kiwimbi as a volunteer in various capacities, beginning when the organization was founded. He has witnessed the transformation of lives that Kiwimbi has championed and truly believes in being a change agent. His mantra is, “Be the change I hope to see, while working towards a better tomorrow.” He enjoys basketball, traveling with family, and spending days in Kenyan villages, where he’s seen firsthand how much potential kids have when they’re given the right tools — books, playgrounds, and the space to express themselves.
