Elizabeth Anderson

Trustee, Kiwimbi Kenya

Elizabeth has a Masters Degree in International Community Development and over 4 years of experience working as a Development Manager for nonprofit organizations in Seattle. Her work has focused on housing and social justice, scaling from grassroots efforts to national organizations. Currently, she works towards equal representation for all, regardless of background, in spaces where change happens (politics, public interest law, film, and media).

When she’s not working towards a more just world, you can find Elizabeth spending time outside with her family and dogs, reading, hiking, or baking the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Elizabeth was an intern at the Kiwimbi Library in 2018, when she saw firsthand the incredible work that is done by the organization. It was an experience that inspired her to pursue her advanced degree.
