Lynne Rathgeber

Lynne is one of the co-founders of Kiwimbi and has served as its Board Chair since its inception.
She is a graduate of Juniata College (B.A.) and Rutgers School of Law, Newark (J.D.). Her early career included fifteen years in Contracts and Compliance at The Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Her transition to non-profit work was inspired by her service on several organizations in NJ including, the Mendham Borough Board of Education, and as a trustee of Wharton Arts (formerly Suburban Community Music Center), and Chatham Day School where she held various positions, including as Board Chair from 1999 to 2012.
Lynne has always believed in the impact that individual initiative can have in making the world a better place, one step at a time. Hailing from a family of educators, she also has profound faith in the value of education and books to help people visualize change and realize their dreams.
Her trips to Kenya to meet with Kiwimbi’s Kenyan leaders and to observe first hand the differences we are making on the ground there never cease to inspire her.
