Mark Leggiero

Trustee, Kiwimbi International

Mark brings his passion for STEM education and community empowerment to the Kiwimbi team. He spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya teaching math and physics to rural high school students. His last four months with the Peace Corps was spent on the ground with Kiwimbi, where he focused on improving math scores at St. Thomas Amagoro Girls Secondary School and helped implement Kiwimbi’s sustainable learning strategies. He has seen firsthand Kiwimbi’s broad and effective approach to education, and the huge impact it offers for its size. Mark is excited to continue his involvement as a Kiwimbi International Trustee, where he hopes to further strengthen the organization’s initiatives.
