You can only aim as high as you know. This is a mantra that I live by. Exposure to new environments, people, skills and ideas have the power to transform the life of an individual beyond his or her wildest dreams.

Having been a beneficiary of Zawadi Africa, a leadership development program aimed at building the next generation of women leaders in Africa, I can attest to the power of intentional programs such as Kiwimbi, that enable people to achieve self actualization through education.

The importance of giving back to my community through mentorship and contribution of time and ideas to local programs is something that I am passionate about.

Kiwimbi’s Vision and Mission is dear to me, as I believe that the transformation of a community begins with the metamorphosis of an individual’s mindset through access to education, technology and new ideas. Being a part of Kiwimbi gives me the avenue to give back and be a change agent in my community.
