Vincent Emodo

Vincent Emodo is a Library Science professional. He holds a two-year Diploma in Library Science and leads the day-to-day operations of Kiwimbi Library, including outreach programs and satellite libraries that extend services to wider communities.

To strengthen organizational effectiveness, Vincent completed an online course in Bookkeeping in 2025 and is currently pursuing online studies in Management to enhance his leadership and administrative capacity.

He is passionate about leveraging libraries as centers for learning, empowerment, and community transformation. He strongly believes in the Kiwimbi slogan “OPPORTUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION” and that exposing children to books at an early age creates a positive attitude about reading books, thus creating a reading culture within the community. He believes that the benefits that come from reading stretch beyond language competence, and also enhances one’s creativity and critical thinking skills. These skills will help children face and solve challenges along their academic journey.
